Frequently Asked Questions

  • Insurance companies often limit the number of sessions, restrict what diagnoses are covered (including speech, language, and/or feeding diagnoses), or require long approval processes that delay care. By remaining private pay, we can focus entirely on your child’s needs—not on what insurance will or won’t cover.

  • A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes the codes and information your insurance company needs to consider reimbursement. After you pay for your session, you can submit the superbill to your insurance provider to request repayment. Families can receive partial or full reimbursement this way.

  • Being an out-of-network provider means that we don’t have a direct contract with your insurance company. However, once your deductible is met, many insurance plans allow you to only pay a copay for services. We’re happy to help guide you through this process.

  • Yes—private pay gives your child immediate access to therapy without delays and ensures every session is tailored specifically to their goals. It also allows flexibility with scheduling, treatment session length, provider collaboration, and caregiver education. Families feel more prepared and empowered for carryover at home when they can assist in creating a treatment plan for their child.

  • Yes- We can see children in a variety of settings (daycare, ABA center, school, etc.), as long as there are no other contracted Speech Language Pathologists working for that establishment. Please check with your child’s establishment for verification.

  • 1) Contact us via phone, email, or contact form from the website

    2) Someone will contact you shortly and have you fill out intake paperwork- This paperwork is crucial to understanding your child and your concerns- please fill it out to the best of your abilities and knowledge

    3) A therapist will schedule a consultation, evaluation, and/or therapy session (depending on where your child is in his/her communication journey)
